Victor Nistoric, Bardar gross: We are trying to engage and help as many disadvantaged people as possible
Bardar gross opened in 2001 by the family Sava and Plugaru Victoria. Initially, the bakery produced bread for the Bardar and surrounding shops, as well as colacis for various events, ceremonies. Nowadays here it works around 40 employeesall of them are from Bardar or neighbourhood municipalities. The company also engages actively in social activitiesfirstly, among employees are also people in the social-vulnerable categories, people with disabilities, pensioners.

“The purpose of a business is to make money. If you think to make money in the short term, the business could also be in the short term. That is why we are trying to also benefit society by engaging in various social activities.”
In addition to generating profits, Bardar gross is known as a social enterprise. The company employs people with disabilities, unskilled people and people in their wids. This gives people in rural areas the opportunity to hire, so young people are likely to stay at home without leaving abroad.
“The Bardar member, by definition, is a social business. First, we produce bread – a basic product that everyone consumes and we aim to make it as accessible as possible, which is why we have different price categories. We are also trying to engage and help as many disadvantaged people as possible. We are engaging in charitable action and we will continue to do it. You don't have a plateau to see the human balance that enjoys.”
In recent years, thanks to investment in machine, the bakery has started to produce congeated semi-fabricated semi-finished, contributing to customer diversification and significant growth.
With enlargement, the number of employees also increased. In 2019 also managed to reach supermarket rafts in the Republic of Moldova.
“Now we are known to the constituted plates, those that we can source from the shop and we are home, or those that we move to a petrol station, at a restaurant, to a patise which we provide as a solution for our business customers.”
Another important aspect for the development and expansion of the business was the launch of the brutariabardar website in 2020, which was caused by the pandemic situation. It also carried out probation exports in 2021.
In his view Victor Nistoric administrator of the Bardar routesocial entrepreneurship is of particular importance for society as a whole, in particular for rural areas, where there are fewer job opportunities, where there are more people in their thread.
“Touch here, we are even more exposed to categories of people living, who are already unable to work at the city, no longer able to work in the field.And time, we can offer them a job position”.
Campaign initiated and supported by the Transnational Finance4SocialChange project, co-financed by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI). The aim of the project is to promote social impacts and stimulate the development of companies interested in resolving Community problems. ODIMM is a partner, together with 19 other institutions from 15 countries in the Danube region.
