The non-reimbursable financial support instrument “CREȘTEM IMM” aims to support the development of local entrepreneurship by providing resources and growth opportunities for micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova, thereby contributing to strengthening the national economy and promoting a sustainable business environment.

Dear entrepreneurs,
We inform you about the launch of the call for funding applications:

Total budget allocated for 2026: 131.337.860 lei

Applications are accepted only for development objectives for which the call is open at the time of submission.

If the applicant selects a different objective or if there are inconsistencies between the objective indicated in the Application Form and the annex containing Financial Data and the List of Eligible Investments (Excel file), the funding application will be rejected.

• Technological modernization and energy efficiency: 61.210.774 lei

• Digital transition: 21.584.976 lei

• Green transition: 12.455.650 lei

• Technological modernization and energy efficiency – Project “Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova” (SBC) – “Enhancing the energy resilience of SMEs in the Republic of Moldova”, implemented by GIZ and ODA, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Government of Switzerland: 36.086.460 lei

Funding applications will be evaluated and processed in the order of submission, within the limits of the available budget.

The number of applications to be supported is determined by the total number of submitted applications and the average value of the requested grants.

Implementation period of the Instrument:
22.09.2025 – 31.12.2030

Planned budget: 632.500.000 MDL (State budget)

• Supporting the digital transition of SMEs by promoting the adoption of digital technologies, optimizing business processes, and strengthening capacities for innovation and competitiveness in a modern economy.
• Promoting technological modernization and energy efficiency of SMEs by stimulating investments in equipment, machinery, and energy-efficient solutions, aimed at reducing operational costs and increasing production sustainability.
• Encouraging the green transition of SMEs by supporting investments aimed at reducing environmental impact, implementing sustainable practices, and developing environmentally friendly products and services.

The maximum value of non-reimbursable financial support per beneficiary shall not exceed the de minimis threshold of 5.000.000 MDL, as provided in Article 3 (1) of Law No. 139/2012 on State Aid.

* The support can be accessed for multiple development objectives simultaneously or in several stages, until reaching the maximum ceiling per objective.

* Participation of beneficiaries from previous support programs stipulated under this Instrument is allowed only until the maximum eligible ceiling per development objective is reached, taking into account the funding already received under those programs.

* If the enterprise is founded by a woman or a young person, the share of financial support is increased by 10 percentage points. If both conditions are met (founded by a woman and a young person), the increase is granted only once.
