Chisinau, 4 April: The Chisinau Career Fair, the largest career event in the country, will take place on 12 and 13 April 2013. The Career Fair will be organised at the Centre of Military Culture and History (former House of Army) and will be attended by more than 50 companies, universities and NGOs from Moldova and abroad.

Purpose of the event it is to offer participants as many job offers as possible and companies as many and diverse participants as possible, to cover the number and diversity of job opportunities they offer.

The career fair aims to provide a platform for communication between employers and future employees. This gives companies the opportunity to know directly from the source what future employees expect, what they are looking for, what they currently think of the brand employer of a specific company. At the same time, future employees can find out what kind of specialists are currently sought after in the labour market, what they lack to become competitive and have better employment opportunities.

The event is addressed to both those looking for their first job after graduating from university and the unemployed, those looking for a part-time job alongside the university, those who want to change jobs or look for a second job alongside the current one. The event is also aimed at people interested in what is happening on the labour market and who want to be aware of the trains in this direction.

Master’s and volunteering opportunities will also be presented at the Career Fair for interested people.

“What usually takes you about 30 days: find out about the company, meet them, have a first interview with 30 different companies at the Chisinau Career Fair, you can do it in 30 minutes,” says Eugeniu Gîrlă, director of the organising company “Kintaly”, referring to the advantages of attending the Career Fair.

The event is in its third editionand this differs from precedents primarily due to the presence of a very large number of local and international universities with Masters’ offers, as well as a large number of refresher courses that will improve the competitiveness of employees in the job market.
