16 June 2025, Chișinău – During the event dedicated to Entrepreneur's Day, the Organisation for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, designated 131 companies as grant beneficiaries, with a total grant value of MDL 72.29 million.

The financing will generate investments of more than MDL 139 million in the national economy, contribute to maintaining over 1,016 jobs, and create approximately 800 additional jobs.

Of the total number of selected companies, 111 companies will benefit from grants amounting to MDL 49.61 million allocated from the state budget, including through the Reform Agenda. Another 20 companies will receive grants totalling MDL 22.68 million under the Programme for Enhancing the Competitiveness of Local Producers and Integration into Value Chains, financed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the World Bank Group through ODA and UIPAC.

The event also marked the launch of the "Export Accelerator" programme, implemented by ODA and UIPAC with the support of the World Bank Group. The programme is designed for SMEs seeking to access foreign markets and will provide export potential assessments, tailored development plans, training, and individual consultancy services for companies with the highest internationalisation potential.

"The Export Accelerator is an instrument that will help around 250 small and medium-sized enterprises transform their export potential into tangible results, become more competitive, and access new international markets," said Vadim Codreanu, Director of ODA.

In turn, Aureliu Casian, Executive Director of UIPAC, stated:

"Through this programme, we provide entrepreneurs with a complete pathway towards exporting, from assessing the company's capabilities to connecting them with international partners and buyers."

During the event, ODA also presented and tested the "Entrepreneur's Cabinet" digital platform, developed in partnership with HELVETAS and with the support of the Swiss Government.

The new solution will enable the online submission of applications for ODA-managed support instruments, reducing the time required to prepare applications by up to 60%, which will significantly decrease the number of applications rejected due to errors or incomplete documentation.

"The Entrepreneur's Cabinet is a modern digital solution fully integrated into the government's digital infrastructure. It brings financing opportunities closer to the business community, simplifies access to ODA services, and contributes to saving entrepreneurs' time and resources," said Isae Spînu, Head of the Operations Directorate at ODA.
