Specialist Principal/Specialist, Programme Enabling Unit, Directorate Beneficiary Relations Programmee (deadline: 16 August 2024)
ODA is a public institution with the mission to support the development of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova from the start of a business, to its internationalisation.
General purpose of the post Implement and develop support tools for the technical and managerial empowerment of companies in the Republic of Moldova so that they can become competitive suppliers to and identify profitable business opportunities for large domestic and international buyers.
Basic tasks of the vacant post according to the job description:
- Realisation research, analyses of the SME sector to identify companies capable/with development potential as a supplier, and capture the picture of sectoral economic performance;
- developing the corporate database with potential for integration into international value chains
- develop partnerships with business institutions/organisations to develop and implement support instruments and facilitate the integration of the HMM in international value chains as providers
- carrying out conciliation actions (matchmaking) (by correspondence, video conference platforms, B2B sessions at thematic events including country partners and overseas);
- active participation in the organisation of sectoral conciliation events (matchmaking) with the participation of international partners, in the country and abroad;
- Participating in the preparation of proposals for amending/supplementing the operational manuals implementing state programmes and other legislative acts in the area of competence of the subdivision;
- Carrying out tasks related to the activity of the subdivision.
Type of employment Indefinite period
Function conditions:
- holds the nationality of the Republic of Moldova;
- possess the Romanian language and the official languages of inter-ethnic communication spoken in the territory concerned, within the limits set by law;
- has full capacity to exercise;
- has the necessary studies foreseen for that function;
- in the last 5 years it has not terminated its individual employment contract for disciplinary reasons;
- it has no criminal history that had been unfeased for intentional offences;
- flexibility for local and international travel.
Sunk-specific requirements:
Studies: Higher licensing studies in the fields of: economic, technical (engineering), legal.
Professional experience:
— Professional experience in this field is an asset;
Knowledge required:
In the specific field of activity:
- the legal and regulatory framework governing the business of the institution;
- the legislation governing the business of entrepreneurship;
- project evaluation skills;
- the specific provisions of the programmes implemented by I.P.ODA.
In the linguistic field, including the level of knowledge of the written/vorbit language:
- Romanian – advanced;
- Russian language – intermediary;
- English – level B2.
- Knowledge of another language of international circulation will be considered as an asset.
In the digital field:
- Microsoft Office package – advanced user.

Working regime:
40 hours per week, 8 hours/day.
Institution’s employment regime:
Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17.30, grassland: 12.00-13.00.
