Competition for the function of senior accounting in the Accounting and Financial Reporting Section (Deadline: 10 February 2025)
IPODA is tasked with implementing the State’s policy on supporting the development of entrepreneurship, including small and medium-sized enterprises, according to the strategies and programmes approved by the Government.

- Basic purpose and tasks as per the job description:
Purpose of the function: Insurance and execution of the financial activity of the institution in accordance with the legal provisions.
Basic tasks according to the job description
- Ensure the efficient execution of activities with a view to keeping the accounts correctly;
- Carry out the management of financial means according to destination on the basis of financing plans;
- Participate in the preparation of the draft budget and the establishment of the annual budget;
- Participate in drawing up the general accounts and the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports submitted to the respective financial bodies on the terms laid down;
- Carrying out tasks related to the activity of the subdivision.

- Conditions of application
- Studies: higher than a licence or equivalent in the economic, financial field.
- Minimum 1 year work experience in accounting.
- Knowing Romanian;
- Knowledge of English will be an asset;
- During the activity in previous jobs, it did not infringe Article 7(2) of Law No 325/2013 on the assessment of institutional integrity, except when the person first falls within the labour force;
- It is not deprived by the court of the right to occupy certain functions or to exercise a particular activity in those functions and activities.
Knowledge required:
In the specific field of activity:
- accounting legislation;
- National accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards;
- legislation in the field of tax activity;
- programme-specific provisions implemented by ODA;
In the digital field:
Microsoft Office package – advanced user.
Skills communication, individual and teamwork, in a national and international context; multicultural and linguistic flexibility, compliance with written and oral instructions.
Other requirements responsibility, punctuality, fairness, ability to work under stress, willingness and possibility to continuously assimilate new general and technical knowledge.
- Institution’s employment regime:
40 hours/week.
Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17.30, grassland: 12.00-13.00.
