Victoria Danila is an entrepreneur who create shepherds and other products adapted to the needs of pre-term infantsunder the brand “Davitex Neo”. It was his personal experience that gave him an impetus to start his own business in this field. Nowadays, the creation of halls “Davitex Neo” they are coordinated with neonatologists and adapted to the medical procedures that newborns have to endure. The company is also active in social entrepreneurship, not only solving a problem, that of pre-term infants, but also providing psychological support to parents, collaborating with doctors and providing the best advice to solve certain problems.

“We specialise in making clothes for children born prematurely. We are those who bring to the Moldovan market functional products adapted to the needs of children with various problems.”

Through the range of products and services they offer “Davitex Neo” Victoria Danila practises social work, which solves the problem of parents with pre-term children.

“The social activity of our company is that we support parents who have children born prematurely. We help, advise, propose suitable products, work with doctors, do our best to make our products child-friendly.”

The idea of the business started from a need on the Moldovan market, namely the lack of clothes adapted for children born prematurely, especially those in the incubator, or who depend on medical devices and have permanent consultations with doctors. Clothes offered for sale are created with the help of neonatologists.

‘Our products are easy to dress, easy to undress, ergonomic, made and adapted to the morphological parameters of each carrier. We propose innovative, original products adapted to each case, for children who are monitored using medical devices, for children who are in intensive care units.’

In the future, “Davitex Neo”the company founded by Victoria Danila plans to continue developing, broaden the range of products for children born prematurely and with reduced body mass.

‘One of our objectives is to develop new concepts of functional clothing products, new collaborations with international partners including Romania and Germany. We want to move to a different level of development, increase the team and help as many people as possible, children, to be dressed with suitable products.’

The work of Victoria Danila certainly makes a special contribution to Moldovan society.

“The work we do is important, because we are the ones who engage in society, we are the ones who try to add value to see happy parents, healthy children and doctors who can provide medical help in a shorter time.”

According to Victoria Danila, social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova has a future, only if everyone is involved in activities, social affairs.

“The involvement of each and every one of us matters. The more we get involved we will have a healthy society, a fulfilling society, a society where human values will be promoted. If we have support and more people get involved, social entrepreneurship will also develop in the Republic of Moldova.

She believes that social entrepreneurs are those people who get involved and care about the society we live in.

“It is social entrepreneurs who get involved, who try to help those next to them to live better, who contribute to the development of society.”
