Tatiana Puga is Director at the company ‘Credem Eco’ SRL in the Bălite City. The company was founded on 6 February 2019 by Association of Business Women of the Bălite City with the support of the Bucharest City and with the financial support of the European Union, Sweden and A.O Glode in Norway. It activates people from disadvantaged categories, including persons with disabilities, thus engaging in social entrepreneurship.

‘Credem Eco’ provide catering and textile manufacturing services, shortly to launch a patricing section. The company is also planning to expand through the provision of IT services, the manufacture of wood and card products, thus offering more jobs to disadvantaged people.

“The catering services provided by our company first differ by using quality raw material and ensuring the quality of the products produced, and secondly the different approach towards customers.”

Being a social enterprise, ‘Credem Eco’ it offers jobs to people in disadvantaged groups, organises traineeships for young people with disabilities also soon plans to offer calse lunchs to older people.

“We have proposed to become an Employment Social Undertaking, so we offer jobs for people with disabilities. We offer Internalship opportunities for young people with disabilities, and shortly we plan to offer calde lunch for the single old.”

Through its social activity, the company solves societal problems, employs people with disabilities, supports old age, etc.

‘Social entrepreneurship for me means first of all the possibility of contributing to the respect of equal labour rights for all population groups. Second, we ensure sustainability to the Association of Business Women in the Bests who is the founder of the enterprise’ssays Tatiana Puga.

Tatiana Puga hopes that more social enterprises will be created in Moldova in a short period that will solve various social problems.

“By promoting and supporting social entrepreneurship we can ensure essential growth of the economy, especially in rural municipalities that will improve the quality of life of the Moldovan population.”

For Tatiana Puga, and ‘Credem Eco’social entrepreneurs are truthful in society as they manage to overcome key societal problems.

“I believe that social entrepreneurs are the erorn of society. I know in practice how difficult it is to launch a social business, but it is even more difficult to keep it up and develop it when working under the same conditions as a classical business, but the return on people with disabilities is much lower.”

Campaign initiated and supported by the Transnational Finance4SocialChange project, co-financed by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI). The aim of the project is to promote social impacts and stimulate the development of companies interested in resolving Community problems. ODIMM is a partner, together with 19 other institutions from 15 countries in the Danube region.
