VIVACAR PLUS S.R.L. in Htre city is among the companies that have recently benefited from non-repayable financial support from the European Union. The company specialises in automotive repair works. Its activity is administered by the businessperson Victor Belciug.
The entrepreneur opened the service of motor vehicles in 2015, but discontinued the activity after some time. Together with the spouse went to work abroad, and returned in 2023 to restart its entrepreneurial activity.
In an attempt to identify external sources for business development, Victor Belciug applied to the Youth Start programme managed by the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship. With the support of a grant of lei 192.000 provided by the European Union, the entrepreneur has equipped the car service with modern walls and equipment.
EVERY MONTH, WE SERVE AROUND 100 CARS. THE SET OF TOOLS AND TOOLS WE USE WHEN CARRYING OUT REPAIR WORKS HAS MORE THAN 10 YEARS, IS IN USE, AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. The project also includes an own contribution of more than lei 100 thousand", indicated the entrepreneur.
The new set of equipment procured with EU funds will allow the provision of advanced vehicle repair services, ensuring faster and higher-quality works.
Since 2022, 360 young entrepreneurs have received non-repayable financial support for business development totalling lei 60 million. The grants were awarded through the ODA programme, Youth Start, funded by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union.
Through these investment projects, companies generated investment in the domestic economy amounting to more than lei 250 million.
