The go-live of “Et cetera” is located in the south-eastern country, in the renamed “Ștefan Vodă” area. Founded in 2002, the company’s story started as a family event and gradually transformed into a cross with international recognition. Over the years, “Et cetera” has received thousands of guests from the country and around the world, becoming a benchmark of hospitality and quality wines.
At the heart of Ștefan Vodă, the Crocmaz veate, the ‘Et cetera’ wine is distinguished from its exception, and by the commitment to environmental protection. The founder, Alexandru Luchianov, an entrepreneur dedicated to agrotourism, took an important step towards ecology, implementing a modern waste water treatment station.
THE “CALLET” IS FIRST OF ALL A FAMILY HERITAGE WITH A TRADITION OF 11 YEARS. We have a special restaurant, hotels and special facilities designed for easing and reconnecting with nature,” says the founder Alexandru Luchianov.
With a team of 40 employees working throughout the year, the wine manages to combine quality wine production smoothly with the development of agrotourism.
Through the Greening Programme for Small and Medium Enterprises, the entrepreneur benefited from a grant of RON 363 thousand provided by the European Union. Alexandru Luchianov acknowledges that without this support the project would have been difficult to carry out.
“We applied to ODA because the amounts are not small and with own resources we did not then succeed in covering this project” explains the founder ‘Et cetera’.
European Union support has enabled the construction of the treatment plant, an essential investment for the correct treatment of wastewater from production and hotel activities.
Thanks to this project, the “Et cetera” wine operates with more safety and respect for the environment. “WE HAVE A STATE THAT IS MORE QUILIFIED. You’re sure, do not patch, harm nature’, support the entrepreneur.
ΡThe EU ODA grant to SMEs of EUR 8 million is intended to co-finance seven programmes essential to support entrepreneurship, including the greening of SMEs. Since 2022, ODA has supported more than 73 business in pollution prevention and water resource management, including ‘Et cetera’ wine.
ΡThe greening programme for Small and Medium Enterprises encourages companies to adopt sustainable solutions to reduce the negative environmental impact.
In May 2023, the European Union (EU) allocated EUR 8 million in non-repayable funds to co-finance seven state programmes to support entrepreneurship, implemented by the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation.
