Established in 1998, SRL ‘DIADOS GRUP’ of the Băcioi City of Chișinău is a company specialised in the production of doors, windows, vitrals, role and tokens. Recently, the company became one of the 43 companies in the Republic of Moldova that benefited from non-repayable financial support from the Moldovan government and the European Union.
The company manager, Adrian Gheorghiță, obtained a grant of RON 820 thousand from the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the Technology and Energy Efficiency Programme of small and medium-sized enterprises. The total value of the project is 1.8 million lei.
The entrepreneur intends to install solar panels to support the company’s energy needs. By installing solar panels, the company will ensure the entire energy consumption necessary for the production processes.
Andrian Gheorghiță also aims to modernise the heating system of production halls in order to use alternative sources of heat. This investment is estimated to reduce heating costs by up to RON 200 thousand during the cold season, while the funds saved will be reinvested in the ongoing development of the business.
The Technology and Energy Efficiency Programme for small and medium-sized enterprises aims at improving the performance of Moldovan companies through modern technologies and efficient energy management measures.
Since 2022, 345 companies have benefited from grants totalling almost lei 300 million, supporting investments of over lei 721 million in the domestic economy.
This programme is financed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union through ODA.
