Founded in 2015 by Tatiana and Leonid Grigoriev spouse, BeSweet became a landmark in the area of patiseria. Pornit from the passion for sweets and supported by technological expertise, the business has grown steadily, reaching today not only the large supermarket networks in the Republic of Moldova, but also in the Romanian, US and Canadian markets.
Today, under the leadership of the founders, the Nadejda Cornețel and Iulia Grigoriev, BeSweet continues to grow, preserving family values and tradition.
“When my business was launched you lived across borders and seeing progress, how the company and family involvement in this business had also motivated me to return home and disturb the BeSweet team,” says Iulia Grigoriev.

As a large consumer of electricity, the company decides that it wanted to be more energy secure and efficient in summer 2024 as well, and benefits from a grant under the energy retooling and efficiency programme worth more than lei 1300000 and the value of the investment is estimated at over RON 2800000. With the money earned, the company plans to install photovoltaic panels and obtain an aggregate, which will allow them to be more efficient in business and increase their productivity.
2022 was a challenging year for the company due to the gas crisis. This challenge has led the entrepreneurs to take swift decisions to ensure continuity of production. Investing in an electric cuptor and solar panels was a key step in reducing costs and increasing energy efficiency.

The company has also previously invested in modernising the business through other programmes. In 2022, access more than lei 1 million through a competitiveness programme for the purchase of equipment and licencing systems. In 2023, it gets almost lei 450.000 for photovoltaic panels, and subsequently benefits from a grant of more than lei 1.3 million to increase productivity. It also invests over lei 450.000 in the digitalisation of business processes.

Since its inception, 422 investment projects, with more than lei 350 million in grants and total investments in the economy of more than lei 875 million, were approved via the Technology and Energy Efficiency Programme.
