The company ‘RUSLEMNTRANS’ in the town of Calarasi, founded in 2024 by Ion Rusu, provides timber cutting and planing services, as well as the manufacture of veneers and wood panels.
“Although I come from the legal field, I have chosen to follow a passion from childhood – working with wood. Today, this dream has become a reality’, says entrepreneur Ion Rusu.
With the support of the European Union, the company obtained a grant of over RON 180 000 through the Start for Young People Programme, managed by ODA. The total investment in the economy amounts to over RON 300 000, which is used to purchase a stacker, a wood splitter and a transpalet.
