Anatolie Bumbu in the City of Railways is one of the 43 beneficiaries, who have signed business development grant contracts on Wednesday. The young 22 years received 200 thousand lei non-repayable from the European Union, via the Youth Start programme. The entrepreneur intends to open a self-service car laptories in the natal city and a café.
“With this money I will buy the equipment for car launderers and pay for machine installation services. Variously, young entrepreneurs do not have enough capital to start a business, so EU financial aid is an additional motivation, especially for early entrepreneurs,” mentioned Anatolie Bumbu.
The total value of the machine amounts to RON 375 thousand, around RON 175 thousand being the personal contribution of the entrepreneur. Road launder will be operational in approximately three weeks. The entrepreneur has so far invested approximately lei 3 million in the business, while the construction works are on the last metres.
Throughout the year, the Entrepreneurship Development Organisation facilitated 479 companies in accessing grants totalling more than lei 197 million. Of this amount, almost RON 143 million come from the State budget and lei 40 million were provided by the European Union through the EU SME project.
