Travelling abroad and passion for a healthy way of life inspired her to launch a unique business in Moldova. Mariana Iliescu he baked the idea for 4 yearshe then brought it to... ‘on the cots’. The woman has set up a company focused on the promotion of activities in the field of tourism, leisure and, last but not least, the promotion of water sports using SUP plates. Since 2019, Mariana has seen her dream come to life. He started the new service and during the summer the entrepreneur organises trips to SUPs on Nistru and Prut, but also on some lakes. The activity is fun, good for health and good for both children and adults.

Women entrepreneurs have benefited from EU funding under the The Women in Business Programme, it allowed her to develop her business. In particular, the money provided provided the necessary equipment to enable the water tours on the inflatable plates.The grant was also used to promote new fun activities in our country.

During the pandemic period, this type of activity was more than appropriate for Moldovans tired by home isolation. Water tours on SUP plates they were an alternative to holidays abroad. The woman is delighted to have been able to implement this service on the market, which brings satisfaction to both her and her clients.

Mariana also believes that the pandemic will change Moldovans’ perception of summer holidays and entertainment opportunities, so that they understand that they are also places worth exploring in Moldova.
