The young person applied for EU funding through PARE 1 + 1 programmebecause his parents work abroad. The grant allowed him to obtain a piling system for blackberry cuttings, propagating material, but also a truck to transport the fruit.

The first harvest collected it in 2020, but as it was a dry year, the pomegranate did not live up to expectations. At the beginning of the path, the young person is not giving up and will continue to invest. She is confident that she will be able to develop her business and is prepared to face the challenges of nature. He said that there was no room for despair and that any failure would be a success afterwards.

Ambitiously armed, Victor aims to promote apes in the north of the countryof properties known less in the Republic of Moldova. The entrepreneur acknowledges that the European grant gave him the idea of a much-worried business for which he did not have enough financial resources to make it happen. Without this claim, he believes that it would have been more difficult for him to start the business. Moreover, the training courses under the Programme allowed him to build connections with other producers in the country, with whom he subsequently established collaborations.

The “PARE 1 + 1” Economic Discharge Programme operates under the “1 + 1” rule – each leu invested from the candidate’s remittances is replaced by a grant leu from the programme. Grant beneficiaries may be citizens of the Republic of Moldova working abroad and their first-degree relatives. The programme is financed from the state budget and co-financed by European Union funds.
