On the occasion of the Entrepreneurship Day, marked on 27 June 2024, the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship announced new grant beneficiaries. One of them is Gheorghe Cernogal, the founder of “Mag Datax Agro”, an entrepreneur with 40 years of experience, from the Butești village, the Glodeni raion.

The entrepreneur stands out due to its activity in agriculture, with cereals, sunflower, maize and wheat. This year it decided to take a step towards digital transformation, applying to the dedicated Digital Transition Programme. Managed to obtain a grant worth RON 450 thousand to purchase an agricultural drone.

Mr Cernogal’s team for the Development of Entrepreneurship is very successful and health, encouraging him to continue to be a model of innovation and perseverance for his community and for the whole region.

Since the beginning of the year, ODA has recorded a total of 248 companies that received grants from various entrepreneurial support programmes totalling lei 106.5 million.

The programmes are financed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union through ODA.
