Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME) from the Republic of Moldova, the Webinar and Workshop on “Regulatory framework and policies for social services”.

The event was supported by Galina Bujor, Head of Social Welfare Policy Directorate low-income families, the elderly and veterans, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

Webinar and Workshop participants on 11 November 2021 they learned about regulations and policies in the field of social services. The importance of this topic for social entrepreneurship is important just as as social service providers can be natural persons or public or private legal entities, including social enterprises and insertion social enterprises.

It is important to note that social service providers can organise and offer social services if they are accredited in accordance with the law. When we talk about social services, we also consider primary services, specialised services and highly specialised services.

‘The National Council for the Accreditation of Social Service Providers is the institution attached to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection is the institution responsible for providing accreditations. Similarly, the Council team offers those wishing to obtain the accreditation and training required to obtain the status of social service provider.

The specialists of the Accreditation Commission shall be independent specialists.”explained Galina Bujor.
