On 26 May 2016, ODIMM in partnership with the Seed Forum Global organised First Seed Forum Moldovain the framework of Access to Finance Projectfunded by the Government of Norway.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Economy, Mr Stephane Bride, Director General of ODIMM, Ms Iulia Iabanji, President of the Seed Forum Global, Mr Steinar Korsmo, President of the Seed Forum East Europe, Mr Dimitrie Podoliev, President of the Academy of Sciences, Mr Gheorghe leads, development partners, representatives of more than 50 domestic private companies.

The SEED Forum comes with a new approach for the Republic of Moldova to the investment process. 4 companies with innovative business ideas and growth potential, selected following the Pitch Training session on 19 May 2015, presented their business ideas to private companies at the Forum. Business representatives expressed their belief that the Forum’s results will be reflected in the identification of new areas that can bring beneficial results to our economy.

Mission of the Seed Forum Global it is about showcasing companies with growth potential and innovative ideas to investors in more than 40 countries, as well as training entrepreneurs in foundation skills and reducing investment risk for investors. ODIMM is Norway’s partner in the ACCESS Project, the main aim of which is to ensure the transfer of knowledge from Norway to Moldova on the Seed Forum Global work process, identify and create companies with global growth potential, and subsequently facilitate access to finance for beneficiary companies.
