In this context, the representative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure stated that, for 2019, the Ministry’s agenda in this chapter includes the development and approval of measures to support and encourage social entrepreneurship.
During the workshop, entrepreneurs exchanged good practices, but also the problems faced by social enterprises in their work were highlighted. These are to be processed and taken into account in order to improve the legal framework in the field.
Social entrepreneurship helps to increase social inclusion, create jobs, involve people from disadvantaged groups in economic activities and facilitate their access to social resources and services.
The workshop is organised as part of the Finance4SocialChange project, which aims both to boost access to innovative financing instruments and to create a business environment that helps social entrepreneurs to create viable and strong companies in the Danube region.
