Potential residents of the Business Incubator in Cahul attended an information session
The Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME) organised an information session for 30 potential entrepreneurs from the Cahul Rayon who want to start their own business.The session was organised in the context of the opening of the 10th Business Incubator in the city of Cahul, which will take place in May this year.
Beneficiaries were familiar with the state business support and development programmes managed by ODIMM and with the advantages offered by the residence status of the Business Incubator, such as the business space, support and professional, technical, administrative and advisory support.
The 10th Business Incubator will be opened in the city of Cahul in May 2017 and will allow residents to launch, develop or boost businesses, create new jobs and develop local economic potential. The business incubator in Cahul is to be opened by ODIMM in collaboration with local public authorities, on the basis of the Policy Matrix for the Sectoral Support Programme ‘Economic Boosting in Rural Areas’, funded by the European Union.
In the last 8 years, 9 Business Incubators have been opened in the districts of Soroca, Ștefan Vodă, Leova, Rezina, Sângerei, Dubăsari, Ceadâr-Lunga, Cimișlia and Nisporeni. Entities shall provide affordable space, training and entrepreneurial support over 3 years.
The opening of Business Incubators is one of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Moldova in establishing an entrepreneurial support infrastructure to meet the needs of the business environment, particularly in rural areas.
