Eleonora Graur, President of Rezina District, said: Thanks to the business incubator, entrepreneurs have realised their business ideas, thus providing new jobs for local people. And it is an opportunity for those who want to start a business. The entrepreneurs in Rezina are very active and each year we see a considerable increase in the number of residents as well as an expansion of the scope of activity”.

Iulia Iabanji, Director General ODIMM, stressed the importance of incubators in the development of SMEs, the mission of which is to provide support to companies at the market entry stage. The business incubator is our organisation’s primary partner in consulting the business environment. We currently have 9 incubators to promote business support mechanisms and tools. ODSMEs also offer a wide range of training and support programmes for entrepreneurs. We aim to support women entrepreneurs through the new Women in Business Programme, which will be recently approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova. The programme will be addressed in 3 phases: support in business initiation, support in newly created businesses and support for growing businesses. The results of entrepreneurs are our motivation to change things, and we do our best to get the necessary information to the beneficiaries, "said Ms Iulia Iabanji.

Mihai Fricățel, administrator of the Incubator said that the institution provides residents with entrepreneurial advice and training and free legal services, reduced management costs, production facilities and offices at affordable prices, and many other opportunities for their business to thrive. It has an incubation area of around 1200 square metres. The Incubator currently employs 14 companies that have created around 40 new jobs, of which more than 50 % are women, 5 of which are start-ups. It is welcome that the Incubator has generated 19 new companies since its inauguration. Resident companies are active in various fields:advertising agents, manufacture of thermopan articles, building designs, bookkeeping services, packaging of tea from natural plants, manufacture of church clothes, electrical works and installations, etc.

Tatiana Vetrila, manager of Îl, Vetrila Tatiana, said that thanks to the incubator he opened a sewing workshop. With the support provided by IAR for 3 years, we have procured new machinery and we are currently producing our own models ", Ms Vetrila also said.

Eugenia Donțu, entrepreneur SRL, clothes” said that the idea of creating church clothes appeared long ago: I started to go home, after which I worked in Russia, and back home I realised that Moldova is not such a workshop. The incubator helped me start my business, and thanks to the SME I got a grant and bought a embroidery car. We have expanded and we are looking for staff”.

Oxana Paladiciuc, ODSME International Project Coordinator, presented the International Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which aims to support business (information, feedback, cooperation and internationalisation), support innovation (know-how and technology transfer) and boost SME participation in EU R & D programmes. The Republic of Moldova has been a member of the EEN since 2015.

Rezina Business Incubator is a public institution, founded by Rezina District Council, with EU financial support in partnership with the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector Development Organisation (ODIMM). He became a member of the Network of Business Incubators of the Republic of Moldova (RIAM) for 23.11.2012.

RIAM is the cooperation platform of the Business Incubators of the Republic of Moldova that aims to ensure sustainable development as well as national and international recognition of its residents.
