ODIMM launched the competition to select business service providers for training sessions under the Business Academy for Women project.
30 business support organisations from the regions of the country and managers of Business Incubators from the Republic of Moldova participated on 28 April 2017 in the Info Seminar on Application Opportunities for the Business Service Provider Selection Competition for Project Training Business Academy for Women (Baw)managed by ODIMM. Business service providers from all over the country, including the Transnistrian region and UTA Gagauzia, were informed about the Business Academy for Women project, the methodological requirements for the training to be provided under the project, and the legal requirements for the organisations that can apply for the competition.
Iulia Iabanji, Director General ODIMMmention in the welcome message that the seminar was organised in order to strengthen the collaboration with business support organisations and to ensure the transparency of the application and selection procedures for the tender for the training services.
“ODIMM expects to make the existing database of business service providers more efficient and to promote the importance of advice in business development. We want Moldovan entrepreneurs to be aware of the role and economic effect of these services for the benefit of the company,” said the Director General of ODIMM. 

According to Yulia IabanjiThe Academy is a project with a new approach, involving the application of new, innovative methods of entrepreneurial training with the aim of increasing the managerial skills and competences of female entrepreneurs participating in the project.
Tatiana Batușchina, coordinator of training programmes at the Businesss Academy for Women projectnoted that the trainings would be organised on the basis of 3 modules, in the areas of contemporary marketing, management and international economic relations.
Tatiana Batușchina mentioned that when developing the teaching materials for modules, trainers will have to take into account contemporary business trends, existing constraints and ongoing changes in the economy.
Service providers will be selected on the basis of the relevance of the technical and financial offer.
The Business Academy for Women project is funded by the European Union and is managed by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) in partnership with the International Centre for the Promotion of Women in Business (ICAWB).The overall objective of the Project is to promote women’s economic and social empowerment, including those in rural regions, by reducing gender inequality and increasing their access to financial resources, services, innovative technologies and development opportunities.
