Ministry of Economy appointed Dumitru Pîntea as acting Director al The Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME).

At the presentation event of the new Director to the ODIMM team, Minister for the Economy, Sergiu Gaibu assured that all projects and initiatives to support the domestic business environment would continue. It also called on ODIMM employees to show openness, work together to strengthen and strengthen the work of the institution.

The new Director of ODIMM highlighted that it is committed to the efficient and transparent use of public money – regardless of its source, meritocracy and corporate ethics. The focus will also be on respect for the principles of integrity and good governance.

Dumitru Pîntea has held the position of Programme Director until recently “Business environment and SMEs” in the framework of Independent Analytical Centre Expert Group. From 2013 to 2015 he worked as Senior Consultant of the Trade Policy Directorate of the Ministry of Economy.

He holds a degree in economics and international economic relations. He attended various training courses in the US and Europe. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Academy of Economic Studies in the field of developing financing instruments to increase the competitiveness and resilience of Moldovan firms. She is a fluent English and French speaker.
