ODIMM and APL, partners in supporting and promoting entrepreneurship in the regions
At the beginning of the event, Petru Gurgurov, acting Director-General of ODIMM, stated that the partnership with APL representatives is a strategic one that ensures effective interaction with the business environment in the regions. Through continuous collaboration, entrepreneurs can benefit from support and support to start up and develop locally competitive businesses.
He also mentioned that: “ODSMEs shall continue to implement the SME support programmes and instruments that they adapt in the light of socio-economic developments and trends. One of the priorities of the organisation’s work is the creation of business support programmes with growth and export potential”.In this context, the representative of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Cezar Ilaș, Senior Specialist, Directorate for Economic Policy and Business Environment referred to the current policy framework and activities of the Regulatory Reform 2017-2018.
ODIMM programme coordinators detailed the procedures for participation in the Programmes, the eligibility criteria, the documents to be submitted by applicants and other useful information on the programmes managed by ODIMM.
“This year ODIMM is set to launch a new programme: Start FOR YOUTH, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. It replaces the National Youth Economic Ability Programme, which has been running for the past nine years. The new programme will provide young people with more attractive and innovative support tools for potential entrepreneurs from all regions of the country, "highlighted Ludmila Stihi, head of the Directorate for Analysis, Innovation and Training at ODIMM.

Participants in the training session were interested in ODIMM programmes and in strengthening the partnership between APL, ODIMM and rural entrepreneurs for the social and economic development of the regions.
