ODA relaunches 2026 calls for grants: 300 million lei for SMEs
16 February 2026, Chisinau The Entrepreneurship Development Organisation, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the development partners, announces the relaunch of grant calls for programmes and non-repayable financial support instruments managed by the institution, in collaboration with Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation.
In the current year, a budget of 300 million lei is foreseen for non-repayable financial support instruments intended to finance SMEs.
ODA thus relaunches calls for funding under the following programmes:
The Feminin Entrepreneurship Support Programme.
Support programme for small producers.
Programme to support digital innovations and technology start-ups.
Tourism SME Development Programme.
Non-repayable Financial Support Instrument for SME Development – SME GROWTHfocused on the following SME development objectives: Digital transition, Green transition, Modernisation and energy efficiency.
Programme to increase the competitiveness of local producers and integrate into value chains.
We would point out that the funds are granted from the State budget, from European Union funds through the Reform Agenda, and from development partners – the World Bank Group, the Puternic Enterprise and Joint Project for Moldova (SBC) – Increasing the energy resilience of Moldovan SMEs, implemented by GIZ and ODA, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government.
In this context, ODA encourages entrepreneurs to apply to the programmes and instruments they manage.
During 2025, 810 investment projects were approved for funding through the Entrepreneurship Development Organisation, for a total amount of 346.4 million lei. This support has generated more than 652.83 million lei of planned investments in the national economy.
Of the total beneficiaries, 534 projects were financed from the state budget, 158 received support from the European Union through the ‘European Union for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ project, and 111 projects were supported through the Government-funded programme and the World Bank Group. Seven companies are also supported by the ‘EU4Moldova: Local Communities’ programme, funded by the European Union, the German, Austrian and Polish governments, and implemented by GIZ, ADA and SFPL in Moldova.
