New grant contracts were signed by ODIMM and the beneficiaries of the “PARE 1 + 1” programme
Of the total grant applications, 13 businesses are in agriculture (cereal and vine cultivation, plum planting, livestock farming and beekeeping). A further 2 companies are active in the provision of services (milling, storage of fruit and vegetables) and 3 companies in the food industry, the manufacture of animal cages and the production of lighters.
Only one beneficiary entrepreneur is from the municipality of Chisinau, while the other 17 operate in 13 districts of the Republic of Moldova (3 companies in the Sângerei district, 2 each in the districts of Călărași Cimișlia, Hâncești and Ialoveni, one each in the districts of Criuleni, Fălești, Florești, Rezina, Râșcani and Strășeni). 

Out of the 18 businesses approved for non-repayable financial support by the Monitoring Committee of the Economic Discharge Programme “PARE 1 + 1”, one business is a start-up and 17 are in the expansion phase. Beneficiaries will invest remittances from 8 states: Russian Federation, Greece, Israel, Portugal Romania, Spain and USA.
Since the beginning of 2018, 92 businesses grants were accepted under the “PARE 1 + 1” programme for a total amount of RON 22.13 millionwhich have attracted investment by RON 58.33 million in the country’s economy. The ‘PARE 1 + 1’ programme aims to mobilise the human and financial resources of our fellow migrant citizens in the sustainable economic development of the Republic of Moldova by stimulating the creation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The programme operates under the ‘1 + 1’ rule, so that each leu invested from remittances is replaced by a leu in the form of a grant.
