Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Moldova now have the opportunity to access a new advantageous financial instrument, the “Facem Investment Sustenable BGK” product. It supports investments in energy efficiency, green transition and adaptation to climate change, contributing to the development of sustainable and resilient business. Three entrepreneurs in areas such as agriculture, catering and accommodation have already applied and benefit from the financing product.
With this finance product, entrepreneurs can obtain preferential loans of up to EUR 375.000, with favourable repayment terms, free technical assistance from experts for the development of business plans tailored to the needs of each company, thematic trainings and study visits to Europe dedicated to the exchange of best practices and capacity building in the field of the green economy.
The product is intended for SMEs that will invest in energy-efficient machinery, renewable energy sources (solar panels, wind turbines, etc.), solutions to streamline production processes, adapt infrastructure to climate risks.
