thumb 1573 approved project gallery large.pngAround 100 representatives of SMEs, higher education and research institutions as well as public authorities from the Danube Region participated in the launch event of the “Made in Danube” project, which took place on 22 March 2017, in the city of Stuttgart, Germany.

The Republic of Moldova is represented by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME) which is an associated strategic partner.

‘Made in Danube’
it is a regional project that aims to streamline transnational collaboration between research organisations and regional bioeconomy companies to turn knowledge into marketable products and services. Cooperation will facilitate the successful development of innovative services and new products in the field of the bioeconomy, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, forestry and bioenergy. The project brings together a consortium of 18 entities, represented by business associations, educational and research institutions, public authorities from 10 states (Austria, Croatia, Germany, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine).

The project will set up 15 partnerships, with the participation of 40 regional companies, which will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs in the Danube region and generate economic growth for the whole area.kick off made in Danube edited

The Made in Danube project is funded by the Danube Transnational Programme 2014-2020, which promotes economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Danube region by integrating policies in the areas of innovation and social responsibility, environmental and cultural responsibility, connectivity and energy responsibility, good governance.
