24 July 2025, Chisinau — 824 entrepreneurs across the country received financing on favourable terms through Government Programme 373. The total value of loans granted exceeds lei 3.4 billion, generating investment of more than lei 5 billion in the domestic economy.

The projects supported by the programme cover all the raioans of the Republic of Moldova. The largest investments were made in the Centre region and the City of Chișinău – each with more than lei 1.7 billion. North has attracted investment of lei 843 million, while the South region, including UTA Găgăuzia, received lei 505 million.

Financial support has been directed towards a variety of economic areas. Most of the investments (42 %) concerned energy production and supply, followed by manufacturing (16 %) and transport and storage (15 %). Important funds have also reached in the health, education and leisure sectors.

More than 12.000 people currently work in companies supported by the Programme 373, while a further 2.462 jobs are expected to be created in the period ahead.

Launched in July 2023, the programme has been constantly adapted to better respond to the needs of entrepreneurs. Access to finance has been extended and simplified procedures. They can currently also apply to trade enterprises (except those selling alcohol and tobacco) as well as in the automotive maintenance sector.

The maximum amount of credit was increased from 15 to lei 40 million. In addition, up to 30 % of the value of the project may be used to purchase raw materials and materials necessary for the production or supply of services. Through the Credit Guarantee Fund, the guarantee ceiling was increased from 40 % to 80 % of the loan amount.
