16 July 2025, Chisinau — Tech start-ups can obtain grants of up to lei 2 million, through the Digital Innovation Support Programme, relaunched by the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation.

The budget of the Government for 2025 is RON 27.1 million. In total, the programme has a total budget of 190 million lei during the 3 years of implementation, following a two-year monitoring period.

The programme offers funding opportunities for two start-ups:

For start-ups with a turnover of up to lei 25 million, grants up to RON 2.000.000 are available, subject to an own contribution of at least 50 % from investments by venture capital funds or crowdfunding service providers.

“With this programme we support start-ups that can create well-paid jobs and make Moldova have its own uniqueorni – strong companies that grow rapidly and compete in international markets. We have just to support it correctly”said Doina NISTOR, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalisation.

“The relaunch of this programme responds to the growing interest shown by start-up founders and the valuable experience gathered in earlier stages. It is a good moment for innovative ideas to take shape. We encourage entrepreneurs to apply. The process is simple, accessible and fully online through the official ODA platform,” declared Vadim Codreanu, Director ODA.
