Mitropolit Varlaam 77) The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and the Organisation for the Development of the SME Sector (ODIMM) organised the Workshop “SME development in the Republic of Moldova: Improvetaccess to Finantand strengthening Business Development Services”.

Purpose of the workshop it was to present the studies on the analysis of the financing needs of SMEs and business support infrastructure developed in the framework of the Multi-annual Policy Support Project for SMEs.

The workshop was attended by OECD experts, key public actors, representatives of business support infrastructure, academia, the donor community, as well as experts from other national and international institutions and organisations.

The Multi-annual Policy Support Project for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Republic of Moldova is implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, the Organisation for the Development of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector (ODIMM) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) over a period of 3 years, with funding from the Government of the Netherlands. Objective of the project it is to assist the Government of the Republic of Moldova in developing a relevant and well-structured set of policies for the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, as well as in improving the dialogue between public sector representatives and SMEs.
