Women’s Antreprene Platform in Moldova “A tea cup” for the 4th edition
On 14 December, more than 230 Moldovan businesswomen met in the framework of the Moldovan Women’s Entrepreneurship Platform (PFAM).
Already one year after its launch, The ‘Tea clock’ platform it is the perfect combination of useful and pleasant, the opportunity to learn something new each time and share one’s own experience. While the first sessions were merely networking meetings to identify the need for such an initiative, the Platform is now much more. Starting in December 2013 from 40 businesswomen, today PFAM gathers more than 300 female entrepreneurs.
“Moldova has the potential to develop female entrepreneurship, all we need now is just courage and initiative, as demonstrated by the women already starting up in business and present at this meeting. The platform is not just a meeting, it is a social networking tool for women entrepreneurs ", he mentioned in his welcome message Ms Iulia Iabanji, Director General ODIMM.
The main topic of the meeting was “Emotional intelligence – managing situations of
stress ", where businesswomen received useful advice on how to overcome crisis situations, as speaker Ms Claudia Crăciun, university lecturer. Effective conflict management and problem-solving methods that appear at first sight difficult and unresolvable were also presented. “A businesswoman needs to feel where the boundary between work and personal life is. Try to organise your time! Moldovans have a “flaw” to spend time on non-productive activities, everything you need to organise your time efficiently, and this can relieve you of many stressful situations ", Ms Christmas said.
Special guest was Ms Olga Tapiolawife of Ambassador of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova,
it was also present at the third meeting of the Platform. She welcomed the initiative by expressing her appreciation for the scale of the initiative launched and the willingness of women to communicate and share their experience. He also noted that the EU Delegation would provide all necessary support for the development of the Platform.
Ms Speranta Olaruproject manager at the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, presented to female entrepreneurs the possibilities of internationalisation of SMEs in the light of the Association Agreement and its advantages for domestic businesses, by removing export tariffs between the Republic of Moldova and the Member States of the European Union, with the exception of certain sensitive products on the Community market. "Ms Olaru presented the possibilities of accessing information on export conditions, tariffs and the eligibility of domestic products on the EU market, demonstrating online the application. Under the traditional heading “Success stories” participants in the event had the opportunity to inspire themselves with energy and useful tips from two successful entrepreneurs.
Margarita Deordița, Director General “Loial” Company she spoke about the qualities of a successful businesswoman, but also about her 17 years of experience. “The secret of success lies in pleasure for the work you do, perseverance, caring for employees and delegating responsibilities. “Ms Deordița also conquered the audience through the multitude of social activities she organises with great dedication.
For Elena Sava, Director of the travel agency “Stil Tur” the secret of success is the individual approach for each client. “Our company’s employees are always amateur, smiling, receptive to the client’s wishes by offering personalised services. We try to fulfil the dream of every customer and let’s rest become an unforgettable remembrance”she mentioned Ms Sava.
At the same time, Travel agency “Stil Tur” he was the sponsor of the competition held from 28 November to 12 December on the social network facebook.com, offering a holiday in the mountains. The winner was Olesea Potereanu, a young entrepreneur, Mr Ialoveni, who has been growing strawberries for three years. “This is the first time I win a competition and the first time I go across Moldova’s boundaries”, he mentioned the winner.
In the context of the approaching Winter Festival, businesswomen had the opportunity to take part in a master class of Revelion table layout organised by the young entrepreneur Ana-Maria Cojocaru, Founder of “Éclair” Companyat which women entrepreneurs learned how to arrange the festive table correctly, but also creatively.
Keeping the format of previous editions, businesswomen had the opportunity to promote their business under the heading ‘product presentation’. Thus, Carolina Portărescu, Founder of CaroLush presented organic cosmetics for women, and Natalia Bolohan, Administrator “Benado Prim” — the confectionery products, which also offer a tasting.


We recall that, Moldovan Women’s Entrepreneurship Platform (PFAM) — “To a tea cup” this is the 4th edition. The platform was launched in December 2013 at the initiative of the Organisation for SME Sector Development (ODIMM) in partnership with the European Union Delegation to Moldova and other development partners.
