Winners of the National Competition for SMEs – Model Social Responsibility

According to the results of the panel of experts, the prizes were awarded to the winning companies as follows:

  • High prize – “SDS EKIP” SRL of s. Avdarma, UTA Gagauzia
  • Special Award for Social-Corporate, Social-Community Oriented Activities – “TVD Group” SRL (R. Ungheni)
  • Special award for social and corporate activities in the field of environmental protection – ‘Agrodon’ SRL (R. Dondușeni)
  • Special award for employee-oriented social corporate activities – “Unfloria” SRL (or. Ungheni)
  • Special award for market-oriented social corporate activities – Stis Svetlana ÎI (R. Stefan Vodă)
  • For social and corporate initiatives – ‘Pinzari’ YY (R. Stefan Vodă)

The winners received cash prizes and price gifts from the sponsors of the contest.


The competition was organised to promote corporate social responsibility principles among SMEs and to stimulate companies active in this field by showcasing successful examples for other entrepreneurs. Current year companies Photo MG 4294the winners were distinguished by various activities organised for society such as support for sports teams, donations for kindergartens and cultural houses, fitting-out of public spaces, etc.

The participants in the competition are companies that qualify as SMEs, carry out economic activity for more than 1 year, are residents of the Republic of Moldova, and have carried out at least one of the corporate social responsibility activities.

Social entrepreneurship is the activity of manufacturing production, carrying out works or providing services, in order to earn income to be used for social purposes, including the provision of social services. The aim of social entrepreneurship is to solve some social problems and increase the employment of people belonging to disadvantaged groups.
