The Siret-Prut-Nistru 2014 Euroregion Cross-Border Economic Forum will take place in Balti
On 25-26 June 2014, the Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association will organise the Second Cross-Border Economic Forum, which is expected to feature political figures, decision-makers and businessmen from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Western Europe and the CIS Area.
The aim of the Forum, hosted by the Municipality of Balti, is to provide real opportunities for the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, the Baltic countries, Poland, Italy and the CIS area to establish cooperative relations between public institutions, businesses and economic operators along the economic, investment, cultural and administrative lines. The Forum will also feature presentations of economic projects proposed for implementation by central, regional and local governments in the countries mentioned, where the business community will find opportunities to connect or fine-tune.
The “business to business” component will be included in the Forum, with networking being addressed in the first place.
The event will take place at the LIDO Complexul in the municipality of Blante, Republic of MOLDOVA, in accordance with the attached programme. Presentations of both administration and company projects will benefit from simultaneous translation into Romanian, Russian and English. For business to business meetings that will require Romanian – Russian translation, the volunteer team provided by the organisers will be available.
The first edition of the Cross-Border Economic Forum took place on 17-18 June 2013 and was hosted by the Iași County Council (Romania) in the Exhibition Centre, attended by more than 400 participants from the economic, administrative and political spheres.
