The Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) and the France-Moldova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCMFI) – new opportunities for SMEs
Today, 10 October, OMinistry for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the Republic of Moldova (ODIMM) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Moldova (CCMFI) signed a collaboration agreement to support the development of the Moldovan SME sector.
The event was attended by H.E. Pascal VAGOGNE, French Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Ms Iulia IABANJI, Director General ODIMM, Mr Emmanuel SKOULIOS, President of the CCMFI and more than 20 local entrepreneurs and business people from France.
‘The signature of the collaboration agreement between ODIMM and CCMFI is a good start for the establishment of partnerships between organisations supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Republic of Moldova, public institutions, and most important for the creation of business partnerships. This will help local companies to penetrate new European markets“, she mentioned Ms Iulia Iabanji, Director General ODIMM.
Mr Emmanuel SKOULIOS President of the CCMFI mentioned that the most important
the final beneficiaries of this agreement are the entrepreneurs. ‘The main purpose, for both CCMFIs and ODSMEs, is to develop and sustain the small and medium-sized business. That is why, if we join our efforts, I hope and I am sure that together we will deliver tangible results for both Moldova and France, but most importantly for entrepreneurs in both countries“, said Mr SKOULIOS.
The agreement provides for: organisation of economic or trade missions to the Republic of Moldova or France for the benefit of its members or partners, identification of common possibilities for participation in European and international programmes for capacity building of the domestic business community, joint participation in advocacy activities, investment seminars, workshops, conferences and various events. Both institutions will also work together to develop the business women community in the Republic of Moldova.
The event took place at the ‘Petits déjeuners thématiques’ organised by the France-Moldova Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the site of the ‘Crème de la Crème’ pastry.
