The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Economy, Octavian Calmîc, called for the more active involvement of district councils, local business incubators and business associations to disseminate information on the continued implementation of the Programme in the years 2016-2018.

We recall that the objective of the Programme is to mobilise the human and financial resources of Moldovan migrant workers in the sustainable economic development of the Republic of Moldova by stimulating the creation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The PARE 1 + 1 programme aims to make it easier for migrants to access funding and to reintegrate them into society, while helping to stimulate formal remittances and introduce best practices from migrant host states. This creates a lever for the introduction of innovations.

Under the Programme, entrepreneurs have the possibility to receive a grant of up to RON 200 thousand, based on the “1 + 1” rule, which provides that each leu invested from remittances will be replaced by a leu from the PARE.
