This year, 158 entrepreneurs from 15 districts of the country took part in the competition: Balti, UTA Găgăuzia, Orhei, Ștefan Vodă, Călărași, Telnești, Râșcani, Edineț, Basarabeasca, Sângerei, Nisporeni, Rezina, Criuleni, Ungheni, Briceni. Awarded entrepreneurs are active in a variety of areas:agri-food, construction, hospitality, trade, catering, textiles, etc.

Following the evaluation of the activity of enterprises in the SME sector, the Republican Competition Commission decided to award the following entrepreneurs:

1. To the nomination “Best popular cheesemaker”:

First degree was awarded to Eugen GODOROJA (R. Orhei);
The second degree was awarded to Alexandra MORARI (R. Orhei).

2. To the nomination “For active integration into society”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “MAIDAN – GROUP” (UTA Gagauzia);
The second degree was awarded to SRL “PRAJITURA MAGICA” (R. Stefan Vodă).

3. To the nomination “Youngest entrepreneur”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “CEDATEX – PRO” (R. Calarasi);
The second degree was awarded to SRL “EXTRACAMELCOM” (R. Orhei).

4. To the nomination “Best builder”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “SDS EKIP” (UTA Gagauzia);
The second degree was awarded to SRL “MARSHARCON” (Mun. Boats).

5. To the nomination “Best entrepreneur – exporter”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “VITALITIFRUCT – EXPO” (R. Telenesti);
The second degree was awarded to S.A. “AVICOLA” (R. Râșcani);
The third degree was awarded to G.TT. ‘SCUTARU VICTOR’ (R. Headquarters).

6. To the nomination “Best entrepreneur – woman”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “SILVIA BOMBONICI” (R. Basarabeasca);
First degree was awarded to SC “STAMCOM” SRL (UTA Gagauzia);
The second degree was awarded to ‘IURCU ANA’ (R. Sângerei).

7. To the nomination “Best entrepreneur in the provision of services”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “POWDERED GRIGORE” (R. Nisporeni);
The second degree was awarded to ‘VETRILA TATIANA’ (R. Result).

8. To the nomination “Best Business Entrepreneur”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “ANEDITA GROUP” (R. Nisporeni);
The second degree was awarded to SRL “STELION PLUS” (R. Criuleni).

9. To the nomination “Best entrepreneur in the field of production”:

First degree was awarded to SRL “AGROSFERA-BM” (R. Ungheni);
The second degree was awarded to G. TT. “STÎNCA ION GHEORGE” (R. Briceni).

Government Honours Diplomas were awarded to the Contest winners “Best entrepreneur in the SME sector”together with other prizes and price gifts.

According to the Competition Regulation, the companies participating in the competition had to demonstrate a stable increase in economic indices, create new jobs, use advanced technologies, produce goods and provide quality services. The winners of the Competition achieved the best results in their work throughout the year, and for the following year they will benefit from reductions of up to 50 % of the participation fee in national thematic exhibitions.

The ‘Best SME Entrepreneur’ competition is in its nineteenth edition and is organised with the aim of promoting successful business practices and noting the most competitive companies in the country that use effective marketing strategies and international quality management standards.
