Iulia Iabaji, Director General ODIMM noted in the floor that Moldova needs innovative, interesting business ideas, supported by talented young people, and events of this kind are an appropriate platform to support and promote these ideas. According to Iabanji Iulia, through Moldova’s seed Forum, we have the opportunity to work with the over 40 states, which are the global network.

The event saw the inaugurrated iHUB Accelerator, which is a centre for increasing competitiveness for innovative companies with growth potential and internationalisation. It will provide training, consultancy, access to finance and internationalisation services for entrepreneurs in need of external financing for development.

Young people who presented business ideas will be able to be among the first residents of iHUB, be able to benefit from support to develop a business and will be able to participate later in the forums organised in the other 40 partner countries.


The fourth edition of the Forum was organised by Moldova Forum in partnership with the Organisation for the Development of Small Enterprises Sector222222 and Mijlocs (ODIMM). The event was attended by Steinar Hoel Korsmo, President seed Forum Global, Vitale Iurcu Deputy Minister for Economy, ICT Vice-Minister, Viorel Bostan rector UTM, Iulia Iabanji, Director ODIMM Moldova and representatives of several domestic companies.



So far, 3 seed Forum events have been organised in Chisinau, where 16 companies were able to present their business to potential investors. 4 pitch Trainings were also organised for more than 70 people.

The Norway Stiftelsen seed Forum is a global network of non-profit foundations and national representations in more than 40 countries. The seed Forum is to present to investors around the world newly created companies with growth potential and innovative ideas, as well as to train entrepreneurs in accessing finance and reduce the investment risk for investors.

The Access to Finance project – ACCESS involves the transfer of knowledge from Norway to Moldova in the work process of the Forum, and will contribute to the creation of companies with global growth potential, as well as the subsequent facilitation of access to finance for them.

Pitch Training (eng.) is a training session, where young people are learned how to present their business idea and how to attract investors interested in the business concerned.
