Emmanuel SKOULIOS, President of the French Chamber of Commerce – Moldaviemention that the Speed Business Meeting provided an unprecedented opportunity to exchange business views between Moldovan-French companies and Moldovan small and medium-sized enterprises. The President of the French Chamber of Commerce stated that what unites the two partner organisations of this event, CCI France-Moldavie and ODIMM, is the support provided to Moldovan SMEs and the willingness to create opportunities for partnership between the companies that are members of the two organisations.

Iulia Iabanji, Director General ODIMMmention, in a welcome speech, that two years ago ODIMM and CCI France-Moldavie had signed a Collaboration agreementthis marked the beginning of joint activities to support entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova. According to the Director General of ODIMM, this event helps small entrepreneurs to establish relevant contacts with large companies to cover unexplored segments of their business process. Through these quick meetings, participants will share their professional experience and business purposes.

Director of ODIMM stated that this type of format helps entrepreneurs identify new partners, explore new markets and expand their number of customers.

The Speed Business Meeting is a B2B event, offering participants the opportunity to meet in an organised setting. Each participating entrepreneur has the possibility to have up to 20 meetings of 6 minutes and present their business, products to find new customers, suppliers or business partners.

Participants present themselves and exchange business cards, allowing them to get to know each other better and identify new opportunities for collaboration.The SBM principle provides for discussions in a circle according to indicators and does not allow for a prior selection of interlocutors in order not to disrupt other participants. In addition to the companies met, participants have the opportunity to socialise during the cocktail, held at the end of the event, with people they could not meet directly.

ODIMM was a co-organiser of such business meetings for the first time.
