Representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs visiting the SME Sector Development Organisation.
On 11 April this year, the meeting took place between SME Sector Development Organisation and representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by Ms Aase Larissa F.Kosanovic – Vice Director of the Financial Directorate and Mr Sigurd Dahl — Senior Executive Officer.
The aim of this meeting was to continue working together between the competent institutions and to create new opportunities for the development and stimulation of the Moldovan SME sector.
In the course of the interview, Ms Iulia IABANJIThe Director-General of ODIMM reported on the situation of the SME sector in Moldova, existing projects and the services offered by the Organisation.
She mentioned the Network of Business Incubators in Moldova, which was set up in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, stressing that the first Business Incubator in Soroca was created with the financial support of the Government of Norway.
Through the ENTRANSE Programme, RIAM Network members also benefit from seminars and study visits to Norway, which facilitate the exchange of knowledge and good practices between business incubators in the two countries.
We reiterate that the basic objective of the MDG is to help make Moldovan small and medium-sized enterprises more competitive by implementing support programmes, facilitating access to finance and promoting them on both the internal and external markets.
The discussion session was conducted in a light manner and representatives of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry showed interest in continued cooperation in the future.
