On 10 July 2014 at 12: 00 in the town of Ceadîr-Lunga (Bulgarian Street, 87) the official opening of the Business Incubator in Ceadîr-Lunga will take place.

The opening ceremony will be attended by Mr Adrian CANDU, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy; Mr Mihail Formusial, bashkan of Gagauze Autonomy; H.E. Mr Pirkka TAPIOLA, Head of Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova.

Representatives of central and local public authorities, the business community, representatives of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, international projects and the media are also invited.

Business incubator in Ceadîr-Lunga it is an institution that gives entrepreneurs with viable ideas and business plans the chance to realise them in the right environment. Resident companies will benefit from facilitated production facilities or offices, entrepreneurial advice and training, advisory support when purchasing equipment, reduced management costs, other facilities and advantages.

Business incubator in Ceadîr-Lunga it has been created under Policy Matrix for the Sectoral Support Programme, Economic Stimulation in Rural Areas’, funded by the EU, in line with the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Moldova to set up business support infrastructure suited to the needs of the business environment, particularly in rural areas.

Business incubator in Ceadîr-Lunga in the initial phase, it will host 12 companies, from various sectors of the economy, which will create at least 32 new jobs. Until the end of this year, the Incubator aims to incubate up to 22 small companies, which will then provide at least 60 jobs.

Business incubator provides businesses with facilities to produce and provide services. At least 30 % of residents will be production-oriented, 70 % will work in the services market (accounting, legal advice, design, sewing and repair services of footwear, furniture, office technology, etc.).

In this context, the Government of the Republic of Moldova recognises and appreciates the importance of the SME sector as a basis for the development of the national economy. The experience of the European Union shows that the SME sector can make a substantial contribution to achieving GDP, creating new jobs, boosting exports.
