Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises awarded the 1st Competition winners on 2 February “Promoting Entrepreneurship and ODSME Programmes”. It ran from 1 January – 30 November 2017 the main aim was to promote business start-up and development opportunities in the Republic of Moldova.

Journalists were awarded prizes according to the following categories:

— Best Reporter TV Lucia Ciobanu, Emission Dincolo de Cifre, TVM1;

— Best Reporter Radio Tatiana Fișer, Public Space Emission, Radio Moldova Updates;

— Best Reporter online Igor Fomin, www.mybusiness.md;

— Best Regional Reporter Gheorghe Șova, Ziarul Farul Nistrean, or. Rezina.

Petru Gurgurov, Acting Director General of ODIMM congratulated the winners, noting that “ODIMM is an active promoter of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova. It is important for us that information about business start-up and development opportunities reaches the general public. This is why the Competition to Promote Entrepreneurship and ODSME Programmes has been launched”.

The competition was attended by audio-visual, print or online journalists, media workers and freelance journalists who presented a folder with the titles of the published material, links, audio or video clips on topics related to the work of ODIMM, programmes managed by ODIMM and information about the beneficiaries of ODIMM programmes.

ODIMM aims to organise the Competition on an annual basis “Promoting Entrepreneurship and ODSME Programmes” and calls on journalists to apply for the next editions as well.
