Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME) celebrates in May 7 years to support, promote and develop entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova. In this period, ODIMM has asserted itself as one of the most effective and visible state institutions and a reliable partner for domestic entrepreneurs.

In 7 years ODIMM:

⎕ has developed and implemented more than 20 national and international projects that have demonstrated their efficiency and attractiveness for entrepreneurs:

• National Youth Economic Ability Programme “PNAET”
• — State Credit Guarantee Fund ‘FGC’
• — Programme for drawing remittances in the economy, PARE 1 + 1’
• Continuous training programme – GEAA Business Management
• — Youth project “Young Experience a Smart Solution (YESS!)”
• — Black Sea Network for Regional Development (BlasNET) project
• — ‘Lead Your Way to Business’ project
• — Black Sea BI-NET Regional Business Incubators Network project’
• — The Network of Business Incubators of the Republic of Moldova (RIAM);
• State Subsidy Programme for the Participation of Economic Agents in Fairs and Exhibitions
• — Project “Development of the Aer Liber adventure tourism network in the Black Sea Basin Area (DOOA)”
• — etc.

Ÿ Provided advice free entrepreneurship for more than 50 000 people, on first steps in business, SME support programmes, business financing possibilities, etc.

Ÿ has trained more than 14 000 people in the field of entrepreneurship;

⎕ financed more than 1 500 companies providing them with grants and subsidies;

Ÿ A guaranteed more than 200 business loans;

Ÿ A offered space and environment conducive to the development and growth of more than 100 economic operators in the Business Incubators open in 7 districts of the country.

Ÿ A organised a series of national and international conferences, round tables, trawlers and other events dedicated to communication, networking and promoting public-private dialogue.

⎕ analysed the SME sector, contributed to the development of strategies and policy recommendations to improve the business environment in the Republic of Moldova.

⎕ has gained trust and recognition entrepreneurs, but also local and international partners.

All these remarkable results have been achieved through effective collaboration between ODSMEs and central and local public administrations, financial institutions, business support institutions, international organisations and donor projects.

ODIMM has been created on 17 May 2007based on the need to have an institution that will implement the policies in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises that the Ministry of Economy is developing.

Currently: ODIMM it is the only national institution dedicated to launching and developing successful businesses, helping to train and enhance entrepreneurial culture and skills, facilitating SMEs’ access to financial and information resources, supporting the development of business support infrastructure and stimulating public-private dialogue.
