Elena Șapoval, ODSME Coordinator, presented the International Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which aims to support business (information, feedback, cooperation and internationalisation), support innovation (know-how and technology transfer) and boost SME participation in EU R & D programmes.

According to Elena Șapoval, any Moldovan company can register in the EEN network, which offers the possibility to find partners from the more than 600 member organisations from more than 60 states. The Network shall proposes to provide integrated services to support internationalisation, innovation and the promotion of business-to-business relations within the business community. The Republic of Moldova has been a member of the EEN since 2015.

Lyudmila Stihi, Head of Research, Innovation and Training at ODIMM presented the possibilities of the Business Advisory Service, initiated by ODIMM, and mentioned that its purpose is to facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to information on the process of starting a business.

Opportunities to promote the development of the business through programmes offered by ODIMM and other Moldovan institutions with this profile were also discussed.

The Business Incubator in Dubăsari (IARD) is a public, non-commercial institution providing support to entrepreneurs with viable business ideas and plans. IARD was founded by the Dubăsari District Council with EU financial support in partnership with the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector Development Organisation (ODIMM). The official opening of the Incubator took place on 16.9.2013.

The mission of the Business Incubator in Dubăsari is to create and develop an enabling environment for the rapid development of incubated firms’ business strategies and local economic development through the creation of new companies and jobs.

The Incubator employs 10 companies that created 29 jobs, of which: 2 companies in the manufacturing sector and 8 companies providing services.
