The event was organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI) in partnership with the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM), the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) and Moldova’s Technology Transfer Network (RTTM).

Vitalie Iurcu, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, mentioned that the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is the European Commission’s main tool to support SMEs in order to increase their competitiveness through the services offered by the 600 DSC 0287EEN member organisations from more than 60 States.

The Deputy Minister indicated that the Ministry of Economy was open to give the necessary support to all companies belonging to this network and expressed confidence that such events would help strengthen business partnerships and broaden the support for the development of commercial relations.


Iulia Iabanji, Director General ODIMM, said that the EEN network was an opportunity to internationalise products and services offered by small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova, and its partner organisations were tasked with informing economic operators about the advantages of the European EEN area. ODIMM organised a series of information seminars on EEN opportunities where business managers were trained in how to create their company profile.

DSC 0367The EEN is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises, with over 3000 experts and almost 600 member organisations from over 60 states. The Republic of Moldova has been a member of the EEN since 2015 and has four National Contact Points: The Organisation for the Development of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector (ODIMM), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) and the Georgian Association Moldova Technology Transfer Network’ (TTRN).
