Institutions involved in managing financial sources from the budget could have a single filing information system
Nicolae ciubuc, the Acting Director of AIPA mentioned that an information system is now in place at his Agency, which has been implemented and allows for the unification of databases and the creation of access for other institutions, if needed.
According to Nicolae ciubuc, he is currently also discussing with other institutions responsible for managing financial sources from the budget and those providing financial support to the Moldovan businessman, who will be able to connect to this system in order to unify the database.
Iulia Iabanji, Director-General of ODIMM mentioned that ODIMM now has an effective information system, purchased to keep records of the participants in the programmes managed by the organisation, and ODIMM experts are currently involved in the process of implementing this system and updating the database. The online information system has possibilities for development and enables the creation of modules to be adapted to a single database and will allow connection to other information systems.
According to Yulia Iabanji, the unification of the database will make it possible to create an effective system of communication between the institutions and to exclude double funding of beneficiaries under the various programmes. It will also be possible to create access for control bodies, which are empowered to monitor the distribution of public money.
The parties agreed to organise a joint meeting of technical experts, to which experts from other institutions managing budgetary financial sources would also be invited to agree on the way of working.
The Government of the Republic of Moldova provides financial and educational support to entrepreneurs for business initiation and development through several institutions affiliated to line ministries and implementing units, including ODIMM, AIPA, MIEPO, IFAD, AEE, CEP II, 2kr, BAS-EBRD, etc.
