Information sessions at the Business Incubator in Soroca and Stefan Voda
Entrepreneurs participated in the focus group session to identify awareness and needs for using the internationalisation opportunities currently available through national and international support programmes. The main barriers related to EU market penetration, the actions needed to overcome these obstacles and the types of support required from specialised organisations to facilitate access to new markets were also discussed.
Business representatives were informed about financing methods as well as business development and promotion through programmes offered by ODIMM and other support institutions in the Republic of
Moldova.
Lyudmila Stihi, Head of Research, Innovation and Training at ODIMM informed entrepreneurs about the development of the business consultancy service, the aim of which is to facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to information on the process of starting and developing a business.
The events showcased the International Network of European Enterprises (EEN), which aims to support the creation of partnerships between businesses in MRs and in more than 60 countries around the world. The network aims to support innovation, technology transfer and stimulate the participation of SMEs in EU R & D programmes.
The 9 Business Incubators, opened in the country’s districts, aim to create an easy business support environment for the rapid and lasting development of incubated businesses and local economic development through the creation of new companies and jobs.
