Europeana SME Saptamana 2013
ODIMM joins national and international initiative to mark 25-30 November 2013 European SME Week.
Campaign to promote European SME Week it operates in more than 37 countries and is coordinated by the European Commission. It aims at promoting entrepreneurial initiatives, informing on measures to support the development of SMEs, recognising the contribution of entrepreneurs to improving wealth, creating jobs, improving competitiveness and developing innovation.
In the Republic of Moldova, for the first time, the initiative is supported by a series of large-scale public events in Chisinau and most district centres. The programme includes round tables, public debates, training sessions and seminars, meetings, meetings and other forms of public presentations.They will address issues such as business initiation and development, implementation of labour law, changes in tax law, etc.
In the context of these events, the Ministry of Economy and the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector Development Organisation are organising on 26 November 2013 International Conference of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises with the Generic “Skills, Competitiveness, Growth”, it will take place on the premises of the Palace of the Republic of Chisinau.
In the framework of Of the Conference the realities of the business climate in the Republic of Moldova will be discussed and the services and tools offered by local and international institutions and organisations for the development and internationalisation of the SME sector will be presented.
Those attending the event will be able to participate in discussions and debates, set out their views and visions on improving the business environment and opportunities for internationalisation of the SME sector.
The Conference will also take place Official award ceremony for winners of national competitions “Best entrepreneur in the SME sector” and “SME – model of social responsibility”.
The event will be attended by representatives of the government, central and local public administration, diplomatic missions, international organisations and projects, grassroots organisations, economic operators, students and the media.
