Cimișlia Business Incubator, 3 years of activity
Present at the event, Petru Gurgurov, Acting Director-General of the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM), reiterated the support of the Organisation for the Business Incubator and Entrepreneurs in this district.
“Business incubators help create a favourable, sustainable business environment that enables start-ups to grow and become competitive on the market, contributing directly to the development of the regional economy. I would like to congratulate the Business Incubator of Cimișlia, in the creation of which ODIMM played a direct role and is now a reliable partner in the development of regional entrepreneurship.“, said Petru Gurgurov.
Gheorghe Răileanu, Mayor of Cimișlia, welcomed initiatives to stimulate and support the business sector in the district.
With a welcome message, Natalia Răileanu, Head of the Economic and Investment Attractiveness Directorate of the Cimișlia District Council, was also present: “I want the Incubator a fruitful activity, as many entrepreneurs as possible with an initiative to bring added value to the economy of the district”, stressed Ms Răileanu.
According to Incubator’s manager Olga Pașcanean, during his 3 years of activity, 19 small and medium-sized companies in the region received continuous support in business development throughout the incubation period, of which 9 graduated this year.
“More than 250 potential entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the region have received advice, and IACM residents have received practical advice, guided by specialists in the field, and have also been provided with appropriate and useful business space, advisory support, and financial support in the form of limited payments for utilities, internet, rent, interest-free financial loans, free training and information sessions. etc’stressed Olga Pașcaneanu.
Companies incubated in Cimișlia produce and provide a variety of products and services: legal services, web, accounting and financial consultancy, modernisation of heating systems, sewerage, aqueduct;market research, etc.
Please note that the Business Incubator Chiișlia is part of the Moldovan Business Incubators Network (RIAM). The network is composed of 11 incubators and hosts 186 small and medium-sized enterprises, of which – 131 are service companies and 55 manufacturing companies, providing a total of 626 jobs. Since the creation of the network, 193 companies have already gone through the incubation period and their survival rate is 82 %, which is significantly higher than the overall market survival rate. In the incubators, 50 companies benefited from financial sources from the revolving fund.
The Public Institution Cimișlia Business Incubator (IACM) is a non-commercial organisation founded by the Cimișlia District Council on the basis of the Policy Matrix for the Sectoral Support Programme ‘Economic Stimulation in Rural Areas’ funded by the EU and implemented by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM). The hatchery was officially opened on 23 April 2015. The IACM building has 22 offices of different sizes (08 m² – 111 m²) for entrepreneurial production and service activities, plus a well-equipped conference room for seminars, round tables and training activities.
Incubated businesses are hosted in the incubator for up to 3 years, with the possibility of extension of the term (plus maximum 2 years). During this period, firms benefit from equipped and equipped offices, advisory services, support for the development of domestic and international partnerships, access to finance services and technical support services, business management.
